Important Community Notice: Security Incident at South Newport

Dear South Newport Residents,

We regret to inform you that there was a break-in at our building this morning at approximately 6:07 AM. Thanks to the keen awareness of one of our residents and our surveillance system, we have been able to provide the police with relevant footage and information that will assist them in their investigation.

As we approach the holiday season, we want to remind everyone to be extra vigilant and take steps to protect yourselves and your property:

• Collect packages promptly: We urge you to pick up your packages as soon as they are delivered. This helps reduce the risk of theft.

• Secure your vehicle: Do not leave valuable items inside or near your vehicle in the garage, as these can be easy targets.

• Avoid leaving packages outside your door: Please ensure packages are brought inside or to a secure location as soon as possible.

• Stay vigilant: Be aware of any suspicious activity in and around our community. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, please don’t hesitate to contact us with as much information as you can provide. Your observations can be crucial in maintaining our safety.
