Attention: Upcoming Power Outage & Security Measures

Dear South Newport Residents,

As part of Southern California Edison’s (SCE) long-term initiative to modernize the energy grid and reduce wildfire risk, SCE will conduct critical infrastructure upgrades in our area. As a result, there will be a planned power outage on the following date and time:

Outage Schedule:

Date: March 23, 2025 – March 24, 2025

Time: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

During this time, essential electrical equipment will be replaced, temporarily cutting power to our community. This outage will affect our garage doors, which will remain open overnight as they will not have power to operate.

To ensure the safety of our neighborhood, we have hired a security guard who will be on-site overnight to monitor the garage. However, we strongly urge residents to take precautions by not leaving any valuables inside or around their vehicles during this time. While we are taking proactive measures to enhance security, SNHOA is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
